The Nike Blazer became an instant classic when it debuted in 1972, both on and off the court. It owes its name to Portland’s baskeball team when they joined the professional league. The silhouette can also proudly claim to have not only been one of the first sneakers on the basketball courts of the 70’s, but to also sport arguably the largest Nike Swoosh ever placed on a Nike sneaker. After our shelves have been rather sparse with really strong Nike Blazer models in recent years, the Swoosh kicked off 2019 with a Blazer offensive that packs a punch! 2019 was definitely the year of the blazer – Vigil Abloh and Sacai have already taken a look at the silhouette and breathed fresh life into it. Also 2020 is far from over with the Blazer and so we can look forward to many new colorways! The new Nike WMNS Blazer Mid 77 comes in the “Fossil” colorway for the girls. The khaki upper becomes an absolute eye-catcher thanks to the snake skin overlays and the shiny Swoosh.
